Pelléas et Mélisande internationally

Sibelius’s incidental music to Maeterlinck’s Pelléas et Mélisande (Op. 46, 1905) has always drawn audiences with its sharp characterization, rich melodies, elegant orchestral writing and exquisite proportions.
